Brasov, Romania
I rest in front of one of the
oldest churches in Transylvania, St. Nicholas Romanian
Orthodox Church. The church is an architectural mix of
the Byzantine, Baroque, and Gothic styles. Next to the
church is the oldest school in Romania.

Here I am investigating
traditional Romanian dwellings and structures within the
Muzeul Satului, or the Village Museum. The museum,
founded in 1936, is an ethnographical park featuring
traditional houses from around the country.
