The travel bug bit me again and I was compelled to visit the Land Down Under! Here you will see a sampling of my photographic memories. Please enjoy them!

Overlooking Bells Beach near Melbourne, I contemplate the wave at Australia's only official surfing reserve and site of the Rip Curl Pro contest, the world's longest running professional surf contest.

Standing guard with the Twelve Apostles in Port Campbell National Park on the Shipwreck Coast, I look for lost souls adrift on the waves.  Sadly, only eight of the twelve stoney sentinels remain.

Resting for a spell, I watch these kangaroos frolic at the Healesville Sanctuary, which was established in 1921 and features the world's largest collection of Australian wildlife.  The Sanctuary is also known for caring for injured and orphaned animals - they receive over 1,500 such creatures each year!
Here I watch the Yarra River flow while the Melbourne skyline keeps me company with its lively din.
