My wandering spirit recently took me to the Outer Banks of North Carolina  where I relished the natural beauty, fresh seafood, and colorful characters. Here you may find a photographic sampling of my time in that fair stretch of land.

While blending into my surroundings, I soak in nature at its most tranquil in the Elizabethan Gardens on Roanoke Island.

The feeling of sand beneath my feet always brings me into a meditative state.  Here, on the left, I gaze at the rising sun and listen to the surf in Kitty Hawk.  On the right, I view the fantastic vista atop a dune in Jockey's Ridge State Park.
