St. Peter’s Catholic Church, also known as the "Little Blue Church" sits next to the Ku’emanu Haiau, the only Hawaiian temple associated with surfing. I find this nexus of religious sanctuaries quite auspicious.

Behind the Little Blue Church, I watch surfers in their element. Their prayers at the Haiau have obviously been answered as the surfing conditions are ideal.

After an arduous adventure I have made it to the Pu'uhonau o Honaunau, or place of refuge.  Here I will endeavour to find peace of mind.
I also exercise my mind at the Pu'uhonau while studying a konane game board.
